SQF 2000 Certification

Globalization of the world’s food supply has introduced complexity to the already challenging task of managing supply chain food safety and quality. In the global marketplace, buyers, suppliers and regulators are turning increasingly to voluntary consensus standards and conformity assessments as a means of building confidence in their products and services.

Owned by the Food Marketing Institute, the Safe Quality Food (SQF) Program is a food safety and quality certification program designed to meet the needs of buyers and manufacturers worldwide. The SQF Program Standards - SQF 1000 Code for primary processors and SQF 2000 Code for distributors, manufacturers and processors - are recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and benchmarked against the GFSI 2008 Guidance Document.

Steritech is a licensed SQF Certification Body, able to meet your SQF 2000 Certification needs for this important global standard, whether it be to certify your suppliers or to certify your facility for one of your customers.
